CodeChat review: a line-level diff review tool that sends human feedback back to AI coding agents
lemire · x · 2026-10-03
Daniel Lemire shares his experience trying CodeChat, part of a new category of tools for reviewing what AI coding agents produce.
How it works:
- Shows diffs (unified or split view) of the agent's changes
- Reviewer comments tied directly to the file and line
- Feedback is sent back to the agent to iterate
Lemire calls the process elegant and says it works for him, though he makes no claim it's the best in class. It highlights an emerging step in AI coding workflows: efficient human review of agent output.
