ComfyUI custom node packs character face, body and clothes into portable .char files

A developer released ComfyUI-Omnichar, a set of custom nodes that encode a character's face, body and wardrobe into a portable .char file reusable across workflows without identity drift.
Key features
- Encode Character builds a .char from face/body/clothing references; Save Character stores it in models/characters
- Decode Character outputs the prompt, reference images, a numbered contact sheet, and conditioning when wired to CLIP
- Can decode into a character sheet or even a LoRA adapter; the SDK is public, with official node submission underway
Workflows included: ready-made JSON for Flux Klein 9B image generation and MiniMax H3 video generation.
Prompt tips: name your character so prompts can just say "sia walking on the beach"; put all character traits in the description prompt and never repeat them in generation prompts; keep each reference pure (face images shouldn't include body) to avoid conflicts.
