FieldAI reportedly raising $700M at $10B valuation for a universal robot brain

FieldAI is reportedly raising $700 million at a $10 billion valuation — not to build robots, but a universal intelligence layer that can drive humanoids, drones, robot dogs, and industrial machines.
The bet: hardware keeps changing, so if one intelligence layer can learn to control many different bodies, software could become the real platform of robotics. As the author puts it, the most valuable robotics companies may end up being the ones that don't build robots.
