Perplexity to vertically integrate agentic infra on NVIDIA's Vera CPU, ditches x86

Perplexity CEO Arav Srinivas says the company will vertically integrate its agentic infrastructure by owning its sandboxes and optimizing them for the best silicon, arguing NVIDIA's new Vera CPU is far better than x86. The team is already working with Vera on SPACE and will roll out Perplexity Computer deployment on Vera, with more details to come.
