Indie hacker makes $1,409/month, mostly from zombie subscriptions
marclou · x · 2026-10-03
Indie hacker alexwestco shared his September revenue of $1,409: CyberLeads brought in $1,083, driven mainly by forgotten "zombie subscriptions," while BusinessWikiPage — a new project built and launched in 24 hours — earned $75, plus $250 from Modeling. He notes the irony that his carefully built, high-hope projects went nowhere, while a throwaway project landed his first dollar outside CyberLeads since 2020. His books have hit 50,000 downloads, with a print edition now signed and shipping.
