Garry Tan deletes ~1,000 lines of markdown from gstack: frontier models no longer need old tricks

Garry Tan (Y Combinator) says he deleted about 1,000 lines of markdown from gstack because frontier models are now good enough that the old prompt-engineering tricks generally aren't needed anymore.
It's a notable signal that verbose instruction scaffolding written for weaker models is becoming obsolete as model capabilities improve — leaner context may now work better.
