Google paper: clean-context verifiers let explorer agents try wild proof ideas safely
solyarisoftware · x · 2026-10-03
Harrison Chase highlights a Google Research paper on multi-agent proof discovery (Cogentic, running on Gemini, tackling open theoretical CS problems from scratch). Key pattern: the verifier starts from a clean context, so the explorer's reasoning can't talk it into a bad proof — explorers can try wild ideas while the verifier discards wrong ones. Chase notes this is the same reason deepagents subagents get their own context.
