Developer kaimcpheeters reports that GPT-6 Astra cleared Tier A of the StarCraft: Brood War benchmark bots after 7 hours 54 minutes of work spanning hundreds of matches and strategy iterations.
- Astra beat well-known benchmark bots BananaBrain and Locutus with a proxy gate Zealot rush
- A retweeter joked he'd be "very angry" if it now beats PurpleWave, a bot under development for 9 years
