Blogger haider argues Opus 5.5 is far less affordable than OpenAI models at higher effort levels, and factoring in fallback, it isn't significantly better than GPT-6 astra — claims that it blows everything away are exaggerated. He also notes Anthropic no longer has a decent non-Opus model in its lineup.
