Meta's Muse model teams with mathematicians to solve 6 open math problems
armand_ruiz · x · 2026-10-03
Alexandr Wang announced that mathematicians collaborating with Meta's Muse model have solved 6 open problems in mathematics, spanning strict thresholds for Gaussian ellipsoid fitting, finite-time blow-up for the mass-critical biharmonic NLS, semiabelian groups and monomiality, tightness of cycle-based relaxations, string two-point functions, and solvable evolution algebras. A landmark AI4Science result across analysis, algebra and combinatorics.
