Grok Bot, Meta Muse, Dot, Hermes: which AI agent to use for which task
HarperSCarroll · x · 2026-10-03
A comparison thread of four AI agents and when to use each:
- Grok Bot: best for heavy knowledge work. You can spin up multiple agents with different contexts, skills and memories to handle diverse tasks well; downsides: Grok 4.7 is good but not frontier, and cheaper plans offer little usage.
- Meta Muse: best for personal online tasks. Lightning fast, free, and the best at navigating the web on its own; weak at coding, with a lighter model.
- Dot and Hermes details are truncated, but the takeaway is each agent has distinct strengths, so match it to the task.
