FreeVideo open-sources local video gen: runs MiniMax H3 on 8GB VRAM laptops
xiuyu_l · x · 2026-10-03
FreeVideo is an open-source local inference engine that runs MiniMax H3 (with Video DeltaNet) on consumer hardware — as little as 8GB VRAM and 16GB RAM — adapting its acceleration path to your machine.
Hosted on GitHub (FlashML-org/FreeVideo), it ships ComfyUI integration, LoRA support, custom workflows, example workflows, and bilingual docs for running video generation locally.
