Canada Forms National AI Council Featuring Bengio, Hadfield and Top VCs

Canada announced its new National Council on Artificial Intelligence, with a heavyweight roster including Turing Award winner Yoshua Bengio (Mila founder), U of T professor Ajay Agrawal (Creative Destruction Lab), Veeda AI CEO Sanja Fidler (ex-NVIDIA VP of AI Research), alignment scholar Tom Hadfield (Johns Hopkins), and Radical Ventures co-founder Jordan Jacobs, alongside CPP Investments CEO. The council brings together academia, industry and capital for Canada's AI strategy.
