Vesence launches Agent-Native Desktop; YC's Garry Tan calls it the biggest AI UI leap yet

Vesence introduced the Agent-Native Desktop: a browser-based shared computer where humans and agents collaborate — each desktop combines an email client, composable tools, native docx/xlsx/pptx editing, and connected systems, with approval controls so humans stay in charge of consequential actions. The ambition: make entire projects, not just tasks, delegable. YC President Garry Tan amplified Jake Mintz's take that it's the first true agent<>human collaboration space — the agent sees doc comments, you can chat by text/voice side-by-side, and either side can navigate — calling it the largest step forward in AI UI he has seen, far beyond bolting a sidebar chat onto productivity apps.
