Design still feels clunky in ChatGPT; Claude Design looks closer to a real workflow
Rocket_3ngine · reddit · 2026-10-03
A heavy ChatGPT user (on ChatGPT Work) complains that design work still feels awkward in ChatGPT: even with references, branding, and feedback, reaching something polished takes too much back-and-forth, and small changes can break parts that were already good.
He sees Claude Design as much closer to an actual design workflow — view the design, comment on an element, change it, keep refining. His take: ChatGPT can already create images, HTML, and presentations; it just lacks a proper visual workspace tying them together. He asks what people actually use for serious design work.
