Selling $5,000/month managed AI agents: real pricing and playbook from operators

Responding to @coreyganim's post making the case for $5,000/month managed AI agent services, @jacobposel confirms his company sells exactly this: a $5,000 setup fee plus optional ongoing retainer.
Agent design
- Each agent has one defined job: speed to lead, quote prep, or invoice chasing
- Hosted on the provider's own setup, so clients never touch anything technical
- Tools connected once via Composio, one API key instead of a folder of logins
- Skills written from client call transcripts and a structured assessment
Service scope: hosting, proactive fixes, adding capabilities on request, human support when something looks off
Pricing logic: $5,000/month is roughly half the cost of a quality domestic employee — one that doesn't take leave, complain, or clock out
