Meta open-sources Muse so you can build your own AI gadgets on ESP32 or Raspberry Pi
The Verge AI · rss · 2026-10-03
Meta has open-sourced the code for its new Muse AI agent hardware, letting anyone build their own "Muse gadgets." Suggested projects include loading Muse onto a color E Ink display for reminders, running it on an HDMI stick for big-screen use, or building a DIY Muse Charm with a small touchscreen. The stack works by programming off-the-shelf ESP32 boards or setting up a Raspberry Pi with Meta's SDKs, then wiring Muse to displays, buttons, sensors, and actuators on your workbench—a ready-to-follow open-source path for hardware tinkerers.
