PotionUI 0.0.14 Drops the GPU Requirement: Cloud Models via OpenRouter, Built-in Editor, Video Director
0roborus_ · reddit · 2026-10-03
Self-hosted AI image/video app PotionUI released 0.0.14, removing the local GPU requirement:
- Cloud models: a new OpenRouter plugin runs hosted image/video models like Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 Lite in the same form-based UI, with results in the shared History; jobs can be stopped anytime
- Cloud Video Director: turn one idea into a short film — shots continue from each other's last frame and are joined into one video, with per-shot retry
- Image editor: adjustments, crop, brush, and layers, available from History and inside media fields
- Formulas: save preset settings as reusable formulas with a preview and one-click undo
- Qwen-Image 2.1 control guides: extract pose/edge/depth guides from any photo, saved alongside results
Also includes a redesigned media field with @ mentions, numerous bug fixes (including inpaint masks now reaching the model), and migration notes: back up the storage folder and enable the OpenRouter plugin with your API key.
