IEEE VIS 2026 Unveils Speaker Lineup, Adds GenAI and Agent Visualization Workshops

IEEE VIS 2026 has previewed the invited speakers and panelists for a subset of its workshops, several of which intersect with AI:
- VisxVision: keynote by Zoya Bylinskii, founder of Perceptual Insights and previously lead of scientific evaluation for Adobe Firefly's generative imaging and video models, on new directions in vision science and visualization.
- VISxGenAI (2nd GenAI, Agents, and the Future of VIS): keynote by Eugene Wu, Associate Professor at Columbia University and co-director of DAPLab, on reliable tools for human and agent data interaction.
- VISxAI (9th Workshop on Visualization for AI Explainability): keynote by Leland McInnes on "The Challenges of Visualizing Very High Dimensional Data."
- vis4climate: guests bridging climate science, policy, and sustainability practice, including Yuri Engelhardt of the University of Twente.
