Microsoft's Sept 25 Code announcement may be the sleeper, not Home or Autopilot

The author argues the real story in Microsoft's Sept 25 announcement is Code, not Home and Autopilot. Many already use Codex for Microsoft 365 work—inbox, documents, research, workflows—turning the coding agent into a work agent. Built on the same tech as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Code is hard to restrict at the model level, and Microsoft has lost much of its developer base, so it needs Code to be powerful again. Good news for users wanting coding power beyond coding at non-frontier prices.
