X exec AI-designed a custom Wi-Fi dog door despite zero fabrication knowledge, at near mass-market cost
nikitabier · x · 2026-10-03
Nikita Bier says we're entering an era where any product can be built exactly to a consumer's preferences. Using AI he "vibe-fabricated" a dog door with a Wi-Fi-controlled lock, matched perfectly to his house's specs.
He knows nothing about metal fabrication or electrical engineering, yet the item is now in production with delivery in two weeks — at nearly the same cost as a mass-produced off-the-shelf alternative.
