A new SOTA has been reported on the URSA OOD benchmark for multi-step retrosynthesis: GPT-6.1 Sol (medium) solved 35% of target molecules, up from GPT-6 Sol's 32% (RetroChimera-level) just a week earlier. Notably, the model is general-purpose and wasn't specifically trained for multi-step retrosynthesis, marking a milestone for ChemAI in drug development.
