Cloudflare's Clef models let AI agents make decisions without humans in the loop
The Decoder · rss · 2026-10-03
Cloudflare launched Clef and Clef-flash, challenging TypeSafe AI's Jev decision model. Clef-flash delivers classifications in about 39 milliseconds — over 10x faster than Jev. Both are built on Qwen, Apache 2.0 licensed, and designed to let AI agents make structured decisions directly instead of generating text, removing the need for humans in the loop.
