Dev Builds Modular MOSS Rover That Runs on Pi 5, Jetson and Any Depth Camera
OpenAIDevs · x · 2026-10-03
Developer @metroxeth is building MOSS, a modular rover as part of OpenAI's Codex Physical Builds program.
The core idea is modularity from day one: users don't need to buy the exact same hardware — a spare Raspberry Pi 5 (with or without Hailo), a Jetson, and depth cameras like RealSense or Gemini all work. Different combinations, same rover.
