User claims ChatGPT Pro account got stuck limits for a week after canceling

A Reddit user ran a controlled test with two accounts: one subscribed to ChatGPT Pro for a month, one stayed free. After cancellation, the former Pro account hit a week of persistent "attachments unavailable till reset later" errors, a permanently greyed-out camera, and reset messages that lost their specific times — despite barely using attachments — while the free account worked normally. The author can't tell if it's a glitch or deliberate shadow-punishment for churning, but warns would-be Pro subscribers and says the only fix was creating a new account.
