anshulkundaje · x · 2026-10-03
Stanford professor Anshul Kundaje issued a pointed critique of the AI x Bio field: "We can't keep going like this. We need to bring far more rigor into everything we do."
He urges AI x Bio researchers to take courses and read books and papers on experimental design, confounders, and controls — and to talk with their wet-lab and biostats colleagues about the philosophy of doing biological science.
