Sigil launched Underdog, a private personal AI running on consumer devices you already own, with backing from a16z, Khosla Ventures, Hummingbird and others including Patrick Collison and Naval. Its 'Underdog's Law': today's frontier intelligence reaches your devices in six months. The team co-designs models and inference engines for capability, speed and power efficiency. Hugging Face co-founder Thom Wolf endorsed it, saying personal AI should obviously run on-device, powered by the HF hub.
