LangChain ships LangSmith Engine v2 with red teaming and automated fix validation
LangChain · x · 2026-10-02
LangChain launched LangSmith Engine v2, adding automated red teaming and fix validation for agent development.
- Proactive red teaming: Engine finds bugs and prompt issues before they hit production
- Harder issue detection: spots inefficient agent paths and trends in error rate, latency, and cost
- Automated fix validation: replicates the issue with the same deployment environment and inputs, builds and iterates on fixes, then hands over a ready-made PR for human review
Engine is an in-platform agent automating the agent development lifecycle; since May it has analyzed over 70M traces and diagnosed tens of thousands of issues.
