Nvidia has raised the price of the 2019 Shield TV Pro by $100 with immediate effect, from $199.99 to $299.99. A spokesperson confirmed rising component costs — especially memory — across the industry. The box still runs an aging Tegra X1+ chip, and the non-Pro variant is discontinued. As Ars notes, the rule of 2026: anything with memory or storage is getting more expensive, as generative AI squeezes supply chains even for years-old devices.
