LTX launches Alpha Gen: frame-accurate video alpha mattes from any RGB clip, no green screen
paultrillo · x · 2026-10-02
LTX has released Alpha Gen (Beta), the final drop of its VFX Week series.
- Feed it an ordinary RGB clip and it returns an alpha matte matched frame-for-frame to the plate
- No green screen, no manual masks, no prompting required
- Built for edges that are hard to key or roto: hair, fur, smoke, fire, glass, and water
For VFX artists, it could eliminate hours of per-frame rotoscoping work.
