Walden Robotics co-founder: autonomy level matters less than whether robot learning is accelerating
adnothing · x · 2026-10-02
At Fellows Forum, Walden Robotics' co-founder argued that a robot's current autonomy level matters less than how fast its learning accelerates. The company takes a third path between brute-forcing a general model and tackling use cases one by one: AI drives the robot with a remote assistant stepping in when needed, while meeting production requirements and generating high-value on-policy training data that prioritizes information gain over volume.
