Jensen Huang on power constraints: tokens/per-watt economics favor Nvidia as 55 of 80 cloud partners sit outside the US
BenBajarin · x · 2026-10-02
At GTC, Ben Bajarin asked Jensen Huang how the industry deals with power constraints. Huang's answer: if Nvidia delivers the best tokens per watt per dollar, then in a power-constrained world the economics favor Nvidia.
Bajarin also cites a point from a Microsoft NDR with management: Nvidia lists 80 cloud partners on its website, 55 of them outside the US (some with datacenters in multiple regions). That gives Nvidia maximum flexibility to place compute where power is available — increasingly outside the US, where traditional hyperscalers can't easily go.
