Bloomberg reports Anthropic has invited institutional investors to question executives on Oct 14 ahead of a possible IPO valued near $2 trillion.
- Formal marketing could begin as soon as the week of Nov 9, with trading before Thanksgiving; SEC rules would force an S-1 filing by late October, at least 15 days before the roadshow
- OpenAI has taken the opposite path, ruling out a 2026 listing over safety concerns and seeking at least $30B privately at roughly a $1.4T valuation
