Developer uses Claude Opus 5.5 to build a bee meadow simulator web game

In her TITAA #92 newsletter, Lynn Cherny shares how Claude Opus 5.5 inspired more ideas than any recent release. She built a butterfly/bee meadow simulator web game grounded in real insect ecology, noting Claude was more rigorous about the facts than she was.
She also cautions that flashy vibe-coded demos hide real work: games involve mechanics, UX, pacing and structure, still require heavy playtesting QA even with AI coding, and not all models handle game UI and mechanics well. Models also can't always recreate the exact animated 3D scenarios needed for testing.
