CopilotKit commits to long-term template maintenance as one stack becomes many products
FinanceYF5 · x · 2026-10-02
Quoting the original OpenDots announcement, the author adds that CopilotKit says its template family (including OpenTag and OpenDots) will be maintained long-term.
- All templates build on the same underlying infrastructure of OpenBot and CopilotKit, repackaged with different UX per scenario.
- OpenDots recap: self-hostable, always-on AI coworkers working with any agent harness — browser/terminal/file control, Slack and Teams integration, Spaces, voice calls, web and mobile.
- The author's takeaway: one set of agent capabilities is being rapidly wrapped into very different products.
