Popular AI YouTuber Sentdex pushed back on bullish takes about Anthropic's IPO, saying it won't replicate SpaceX's market performance.
He says he bought SpaceX stock despite believing it's way overpriced because the company has wild ambitions and inspiring successes — something Anthropic lacks: "They just have visions of doom." The quoted post he's replying to predicts Anthropic will pop on debut, then spend a month or two doing real price discovery, and that its steep premium could get discounted until a quarter or two of earnings prove the company out.
