Creator: Opus 5.5 edits videos well, but forcing AI to clip without real need yields garbage
AlchainHust · x · 2026-10-02
Creator AlchainHust shares his experience of the past two weeks: videos he posted on Bilibili and Xiaohongshu were edited directly by Opus 5.5 or "GPT-6 Astra", and turned out better than his own previous work.
But he adds a caveat: without a genuine need, forcing Opus 5.5 or the just-released Fable 5.5 to edit mostly produces garbage — many people think the output is good simply because their taste hasn't seen better.
