Dev Wires Grok Bot and OpenAI Dot Into Voice Interfaces for a Hermes Agent Assistant
alexcovo_eth · x · 2026-10-02
A developer lacking a good voice layer built his own: custom connectors let Grok's bot and OpenAI's Dot chat with him and orchestrate a Nous Research Hermes agent.
Grok Bot and Dot act as different interfaces and personalities handling different assistant duties, all communicating to the underlying hermes-agents via voice. He calls the result 'like magic' and plans to pilot it with a client.
He says he'll open-source the repo once he hits 10,000 followers — a good example of wiring existing products into a new multi-agent voice setup.
