Dev Has Claude Build a Custom Animation Editor to Iterate on Game Jump Physics
DeryaTR_ · x · 2026-10-02
An indie game developer shared how he leveled up animation quality in his prototype by using Claude both as an animation tutor and reference finder.
He went further and had Claude build a custom animation editor dedicated to iterating on the character's jump, and he's happy enough with the result to share a side-by-side comparison video.
It's a nice example of using conversational AI to spin up small, purpose-built developer tools rather than just writing game code directly — a workflow indie devs can replicate.
