Dev uses GitHub Copilot as a project lead: files issues, lets the agent do everything else
0xkarasy · x · 2026-10-02
A developer shared an extreme workflow for GitHub Copilot: instead of reading code, he assigns each project a "lead" inside Copilot and makes everything the agent's problem.
The agent lead handles the full pipeline: triaging the backlog, spinning up sessions, testing, PRs, merges, deployment, and cleaning up worktrees. The human only files issues.
It's an example of pushing coding agents from autocomplete toward end-to-end project ownership, and it sparked discussion about the shrinking human role in AI workflows.
