Ex-games founder has Claude build a custom animation editor to iterate on game jump feel
trq212 · x · 2026-10-02
Former games founder trq212 shares his side-project game prototype workflow: to raise animation quality, he used Claude both as a teacher and reference-finder, then had Claude build a dedicated animation editor so they could iterate on the jump animation together. He's happy with the result and posted a side-by-side video.
He admits there's still plenty to improve and says he's hit his own skill limit — the next bottleneck is judgment, not code. A concrete example of pairing with AI instead of outsourcing creative work.
