LeCun shares Photoroom's live try-on demo: clothes move with you, cutting returns
ylecun · x · 2026-10-02
Yann LeCun reshared a demo from Photoroom co-founder Matthieu Rouif: an internal iPhone app renders products live on the user's body—clothing moves as you move, showing fit, drape, and look. Rouif's thesis: "selling is answering the question in the customer's head"—does this couch fit my living room, how do these glasses look on me. Fashion could never answer that until now. He claims such visuals directly raise conversion and cut returns, with @photoroomml handling every category, running live on their own GPUs.
