HumanLayer announced its next direction: building the "software forge for AI and whatever comes after it." Zed CEO zeeg quote-shared the teaser, joking that these "clever punks" are renaming the "software factory" concept into a "forge."
Known previously for its human-in-the-loop approval tooling for AI agents, HumanLayer's new positioning signals another step in its agent-development tooling push, though no product details have been revealed yet.
