himanshustwts · x · 2026-10-02
A researcher who joined Google in 2019 and later became part of DeepMind has announced his departure after seven years. He recalls betting early that models could understand and generate code when few shared that conviction, noting that coding is now "democratised and will be used to solve everything else." Well-wishes from peers followed, though his next move has not been disclosed.
