Tim Dettmers (binarybits) shares his first ride in a Zoox robotaxi: it was 'fine'. The purpose-built vehicle is interesting, but he doubts he'd prefer it long-term to Waymo's conventional-vehicle approach — the lack of a proper windshield makes the cabin feel a bit claustrophobic. Photos attached.
