A developer shares a Grok technique: 1) ask Grok to /build a custom MCP for you, 2) deploy the app as a custom connector, 3) chat with Grok and have it use the connector. The demo shows Grok rendering rich movie and actor data cards — essentially using self-built MCP connectors as a custom rendering pipeline when the model can't output rich UI directly.
