Grok Build v1.0.46/47: MCP reliability, context sync and large-workspace speedups
XFreeze · x · 2026-10-02
xAI shipped two consecutive updates to its coding tool Grok Build focused on reliability and performance.
v1.0.47: UI model list and context window now sync instantly on agent model switches; the Goal panel opens correctly even mid-workflow; login errors wrap properly in narrow terminals; sessions in repos with .envrc start faster.
v1.0.46 (aimed at MCP-heavy setups and large workspaces): MCP server sources reported correctly, client rules survive system-prompt rebuilds, permission rules work through symlinked paths, context counts update immediately after compaction, smarter terminal video handling, plus filesystem optimizations avoiding expensive subtree scans and faster skill-directory loading.
