Tavus introduced Griffin, billed as the first Human Interaction Model (HIM) — a unified video-to-video system combining real-time perception, conversation and expressive video. In a live study, 48% of participants believed Griffin was human after a one-minute video call, and it ranked #1 on NVIDIA's independent face-to-face AI test, 37% ahead of the next best at reacting in the moment. A smaller Griffin Lite is in limited preview; developers can build PALs on Phoenix, Raven and Sparrow models now.
