Grok Build 1.0.46 ships MCP source reporting, context compaction fixes and faster startup
mark_k · x · 2026-10-02
Grok Build 1.0.46 focuses on reliability and performance: MCP server sources are now reported correctly in Grok Inspect and MCP Doctor, client rules survive system prompt rebuilds, relative-path permission rules work with symlinked CWDs, and context compaction shows the correct token count immediately. It also improves video-card fallback in terminals without ffmpeg, speeds up listdir on network/virtual filesystems, and accelerates startup when loading skills from large directories — smoothing the agentic dev loop overall.
