Developer garionhk released EasyMiniDirector (Apache 2.0, Windows), a desktop app wrapping MiniMax H3's complex ComfyUI video workflow.
- H3 generates short clips with baked-in audio but requires choosing between two 21GB checkpoints, an odd 17k+5 frame count, and four interdependent speed settings.
- The app lets you type a prompt, split it into shots, drag dividers to adjust shot length, add a reference photo for consistent faces/outfits, and add a voice clip; a Turbo mode is 2x faster for iteration.
- Optional Ollama helper expands rough ideas into full prompts; each video saves its last frame for scene continuation; English and Traditional Chinese UI.
- Requires EasyAI and ComfyUI 0.32+; model files (42GB) downloaded separately.
- Gotcha: the Director node's localprompts and segmentlengths inputs do nothing — everything is read from the timelinedata string.
